We have two places in the basement that leak from outside the foundation. One is quite small but the other is significant and is likely due to a damaged floor drain pipe and the hole in the foundation it ran through. We're looking to repair the drain pipe such that we can discharge our water softener through it. Once the leaks have been repaired we would like to insulate the foundation and basement in accordance with the recommendation we received in our HEA. Additionally there is a section of crawlspace that we were recommended to have looked at in our home inspection.

I would like to book a consultation to receive a quote. I am located in Windsor and have a Victorian age home that has a rock wall basement. Recently, water has started to leak and enter the basement at the bottom of the rock wall where it meets the floor. This only occurs when the ground is very saturated, but is something I want to look at addressing. The grade of the front lawn and the curbing situation leads to some pooling of water on the front yard, which is then entering the basement. Hi there- We recently purchased a 1400 sq ft mid century home in downtown Windsor. We knew going in there were some water issues with the basement, some seepage from the underside of the walls (there seems to be damage to the footings, if they exist at all), and water from cracks in the floor when it rains hard. We had two companies come in for estimates, but we aren't entirely certain our best course of action. One suggested trenching with a sump, and the other talked about perhaps a whole new concrete floor. We just want to be sure we are choosing the best scenario. Perhaps you will have a better idea of what's actually happening here and the best method of repair. The goal is to have useable space, not necessarily "finished" as in living space, but we have bunnies and want a nice clean dry space for them and maybe a workshop. I'm usually free in the mornings before 11am- would there be a time we can book to come and take a good look?
