We have a crawl space that is prone to flooding the last couple of years. It is crushed rock and the water tends to come from rising water table during spring thaw a/o heavy rains. I suspect the exterior weeping tile is not working properly any longer. We have a small pit with a utility pump that has saved us on occasion but is really doing a job it is not suited for and starting to be unpredictable. Also we have the worry of what happens when the power goes out and we are in bed or away. We can hook up a small generator if we are aware the power is out. We are looking for a more reliable and worry free option at a reasonable cost.
