Crawlspace Encapsulation- Grand Etang, NS
Challenge
Grand Etang is a small town on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, with little services available near them. This homeowner was in dire need of assistance for her current homes crawlspace. The dark, cold, wet, dungeon looking crawlspace was leaving this homeowner not only living on top of the area, as well as breathing in that gross air traveling into her home from the crawlspace.
The homeowner began her search for finding someone to help her with this crawlspace battle, that seemed like an impossible job.. but nothing is impossible for Ridgeback Basement Systems.
Solution
Ridgeback was contacted by the homeowner in dyer need of assistance with what seemed like an impossible feat in her homes crawlspace. After scheduling an inspection, Jake Barter traveled to the home in Grand Etang to complete the inspection of the crawlspace, and as crazy as it sounds, it was not the worst that we have seen. Jake knew an encapsulation was necessary for the issues she was having. Along with an encapsulation, Jake suggested a Sump Pump and a Sanidry Sedona for removal of water in crawlspace and lowering the humidity.
The homeowner was over the moon with these suggestions and did deiced to move forward with what Jake proposed to the customer. We completed the job and the homeowner can now enjoy her home, and the air in her home is much better.
