Basement Waterproofing- Fredericton, NB
Challenge
Shayne, a homeowner residing in Fredericton, NB, reached out to Ridgeback Basement Systems with concerns about water infiltration in his basement. He noticed water ingress along the wall edges during rainy periods, a situation that jeopardized the usability and integrity of his basement space. Though Shayne had an existing sump pump, it was evident that a more comprehensive solution was necessary to redirect and manage water flow effectively.
Solution
Our structured approach began when our Customer Care Specialist scheduled a home inspection with Shayne. Following this, our System Design Specialist visited his home to conduct a detailed inspection. Upon evaluating the issue, our professional assessment highlighted a need for an interior drainage system that worked in tandem with the existing sump pump. The recommended solution was our WaterGuard system. The installation of WaterGuard was entrusted to one of our dedicated production teams. They worked meticulously to implement this sub-floor perimeter drainage solution. First, they accessed the basement floor and ensured correct drainage passaging along the footing. The WaterGuard was then precisely installed to channel water seepage from foundation walls directly to the sump pump. Its design prevents clogging, a significant improvement over traditional French drains. Upon completion, Shayne's basement exhibited no signs of existing or potential future water issues. We ensured the area was as clean as when we started, leaving him with a dry, secure, and reliable basement environment. Shayne's satisfaction with this lasting drainage solution reflects our mission to deliver remarkable customer experience and enduring solutions for basement waterproofing needs.
