Basement Waterproofing- Canso, NS

Challenge

Canso, Nova Scotia is on the northeastern tip of mainland Nova Scotia, Canada. It is known for its small fishing villages as it is surrounded by water. Being surrounded by water can have its pros and cons. Often times there is more water in the lands soil, resulting in an abundance of Hydrostatic pressure of homes in the town. This was the case for our customer Mary. She contacted the Ridgeback Basement Systems team as she had cracks in her foundation, walls, and floors which were causing water seepage. It was important for her to get these issues resolved so she could enjoy the summer months without the stress of her basement flooding. 

Solution

Our Sales Specialist Jake Barter, made the trip to Canso to meet with Mary, and find a solution for all the issues she was having. After the assessment was completed, it was evident that Mary was in need of a full perimeter WaterGuard system, paired with a TripleSafe for maximum water discharge. To finish off the project, we added some CleanSpace over the large cracks to eliminate further water entering into the home. An overall excellent job completed from start to finish from our Ridgeback Basement Systems team.
