Challenge

This home in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia was having severe water seepage. The water was entering the home through the wall/ floor joint. The homeowners believed that installing a french drain would re-route the water away from their home and issues would be resolved. Unfortunately, that did not live up to their expectations and it was back to the drawing board. Tamara reached out to the Ridgeback Basement Systems team to hopefully get a permanent solution. 

Solution

Tamara expressed her concerns with the water seepage entering into her home. At points the water was ankle deep, so she was ready for a solution that was gong to work. With the experts at Ridgeback we were able to check off all the boxes. We installed a full perimeter WaterGuard system, to catch all the water coming into the home, paired with a triple safe to ensure all water would be discharged away from the home.

The customer was very happy to have a dry basement again.
