Challenge

This homeowner contacted Ridgeback Basement Systems with concerns regarding their basement. There were multiple areas that had water seepage and the basement had very high moisture. As those are all areas we cover at Ridgeback Basement Systems, we set up an inspection for a sales representative to check out the area and give the homeowner a quote on fixing the issues. 

Solution

Our Sales Specialist Dylan went to the property and inspected the very apparent issues. Dylan discovered there was an exposed trench around the interior perimeter of the home. This was causing water under the home to seep onto the floor and cause flooding. Along with that, the moisture from having exposed ground was very high and mold was beginning to form on the homeowners' personal items. 

It was apparent that Water Guard was necessary, to close off the ground exposure, and the capture any water that attempted to seep into the home. Paired with the WaterGuard is a SuperSump sump pump. The addition of this pump ensures that the water that is captured in the WaterGuard is sent to the pump and discharged away from the home. And for a finishing touch, we added CleanSpace Wallie encapsulation to the walls. This will help with the moisture and any water seepage through the walls.
