Basement Waterproofing- Wilevile, NS

Challenge

This very old home located in Wilevile, Nova Scotia was facing some major water issues in their home. The water was stemming from some cracks and seepage in the basement. Homeowner KK knew that it was important to resolve the issues before increasing water and more issues arise. KK began the search to find a company that was the right fit for her needs. Ridgeback Basement Systems was contacted by KK and she explained the water issues that she was having, and we scheduled her for an inspection. 

Solution

Sales Specialist, Jake completed the inspection on KKs home and noted the issues that were a route cause of the water, as well as solutions to resolve the areas of concerns. It was evident that there had been water in the basement many times due to the chipping paint on the foundation and efflorescence on the walls. Addressing the water was the most important for KK and Jake. After the inspection, Jake presented KK with the suggested solution- which involved a sump pump, WaterGuard, and CleanSpace. The products were installed and now the customer can finally say, their basement is dry- for the first time in a very long time.
