Basement Waterproofing- Musquodoboit Harbour, NS

Challenge

These homeowners in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia were experiencing water coming into their homes perimeter at all areas during rainfall. Shane reached out to many companies to get a quote, and was faced with a struggle as there is in-floor heating installed in his basement. This means that any perimeter system that involves jackhammering the foundation floor was not an option, for fear of hitting a line for the heated floors. Luckily, Ridgeback Basement Systems had just the product for him. Shane reached out to Ridgeback on his quest, and we gave him a solution. 

Solution

Our Sales Specialist went to see the Musquodoboit Harbour home, and talk with the homeowners about a solution. it was evident water was coming into the floor/wall joint- which is often the main source of all basement flooding. After inspecting and discussing solutions with Shane, our Sales Specialist suggested installing DryTrak for a perimeter system, which would feed into the TripleSafe sump pump and discharge the water to the exterior of the home. DryTak sits on top of the foundation floor and catches the water, the same as our other perimeter systems. This option was great for this home, due to the heated flooring.
